Yesenia Flores, Ph.D., BCBA-D

Yesenia has always had a heart to serve. She volunteered in children's ministry as early as 16 years of age and by the end of her high school education, knew she wanted to help them overall in life.

In 2007, Yesenia pursued her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree with a minor in French at Northern Illinois University. In 2008, for her internship, Yesenia began working with children with autism and other developmental disorders.

In 2009, Yesenia completed her Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) degree at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCS). Then in 2011, Yesenia became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Determined to get the most experience to aid the special needs population, Dr. Flores continued on to obtain her Doctor of Philosophy degree in ABA at TCS in 2022.

Overall, Dr. Flores has provided behavioral services, in English and Spanish, to over 600 individuals (13 months to 32 years of age), with a wide range of developmental disabilities, and their families, across 3 different states, in the home, school, adult day center, out-patient, and private clinic setting.

Dr. Flores' goal is to help as many individuals develop and increase appropriate, socially significant skills and decrease maladaptive behaviors utilizing efficient, effective, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis practices while at the same time empowering their parents and caregivers to do the same.
